The short answer

To buy Japanese concert tickets from overseas, start from the specific event's official page, not a general ticketing homepage. Look for an official inbound sale, such as eplus International or a Ticket PIA inbound page. If only domestic sales exist, first confirm the exact platform publishes an account or nonmember route you can use from overseas. For Lawson Ticket specifically, a general-sale label is not sufficient: the exact sale must expose book without membership. Then check whether the site accepts your card, whether the delivery app accepts your actual phone number, and the name, companion and identity rules at the gate.

A successful payment is not proof that a ticket can be issued, transferred or used at the gate.

Can overseas visitors use AnyPASS?

Sometimes. AnyPASS's official FAQ says registration with an overseas mobile number is possible and uses the number with its country code. That does not guarantee that every overseas number, device, event, or sale route will work. AnyPASS's terms say some overseas-issued mobile numbers may not work and limit service use to Japan.

On iPhone, the authentication direction matters

AnyPASS's published iPhone setup opens a prefilled SMS from the phone for you to send unchanged. If the SMS app has not launched after waiting at least 30 seconds, its published troubleshooting route directs you to start outgoing-call authentication. SMS and call charges are your responsibility, and that call route requires caller ID to be shown.

An overseas number being accepted in principle does not prove that a particular carrier, SIM or roaming plan can complete this step. Keep authentication and delivery Unknown until the required outbound route succeeds.

  • Number: Use the actual mobile number entered for the ticket, including its country code. For the checked iPhone flow, confirm it can send SMS or place the disclosed outgoing call. Do not substitute a data-only or 050/IP number.
  • Device: Confirm the current supported smartphone and OS, a numbered SIM, app installation, and internet access.
  • Event: Confirm that the exact event uses AnyPASS and read its issue, companion, ID, resale, refund, and entry rules before paying.

If any required item is still unclear, pause before payment and ask the ticket seller or organiser through its official support route.

YOUR CHECK

Start with the official event page

This check does not decide whether you are eligible. It shows which facts are still missing before payment.

NEXT ACTION

Find the exact official sales page

  1. Open the official sales page linked by the artist, organiser, venue or promoter.
  2. Match every later check to that exact event and sale rather than to a platform in general.
Start with the official-route guide
Prepare questions for the official ticket provider

Turn the unanswered items above into an English or Japanese follow-up. Use the official event/provider channel yourself; this site does not submit an enquiry. Do not paste a reservation number, QR code, passport or payment details here.

AnyPASS: which step is still unresolved?

Start at the step that stopped. AnyPASS allows registration with an overseas number including its country code; ordinary receipt is tied to the application number, with a linking-code exception. Those facts do not approve every event or device.

Source scope for this action guide

Checked for the points stated here; not a full review of this article. Other source and review dates remain attached to their own sections.

Why “how do I buy a ticket?” is the wrong first question

Most guides begin with a list of Japanese ticket websites. That is the wrong place to start because Japanese ticketing is not one decision. It is three.

  1. The sale routeA domestic lottery, a domestic general sale, or an official inbound sale for overseas buyers.
  2. The delivery systemA browser ticket, a dedicated app, paper collection, or venue collection.
  3. The entry ruleTicket-holder name, companion handling, ID checks, transfer and official resale.

A route can pass at the sale and fail at delivery or entry. You can pay successfully and still be unable to open the ticket on your phone or clear the ID check at the gate. Work through the layers in order. If any layer is unclear, pause before paying.

Start from the event's official page

Find the artist, venue, promoter or event's official page before comparing platforms. Availability is event-specific. The existence of an English ticketing system does not mean the show you want has an overseas allocation.

Look for an English or overseas sales link. When one exists, it normally routes you to the correct sale for international buyers and explains the delivery method. If there is no overseas link, you are looking at domestic sales and need to check every restriction more carefully.

Check for an official inbound sale

An official inbound sale is a checkout run by the ticketing company or promoter for buyers based overseas or holding overseas-issued cards. When your event offers one, it is usually the most direct place to begin.

eplus International Booking

eplus runs an international booking system for customers living overseas or holding only cards issued overseas. Its published FAQ supports English and Chinese, and lists Visa, Mastercard and Alipay. Its FAQ also says handling charges are included in the displayed ticket price on this route.

The key limitation is event availability. The international system does not give every eplus event an inbound allocation. Confirm the route on the specific event's page.

Ticket PIA inbound pages

Ticket PIA runs event and promoter-specific English inbound pages rather than one universal overseas store. A SMASH page, for example, lists concerts that can be purchased in English from overseas.

Delivery varies. The EVO Japan 2026 inbound page uses MOALA Ticket, a browser-based electronic ticket, and says no special app is needed. It also requires a smartphone and internet connection, does not accept a screenshot for entry, and tells buyers to open the ticket in advance. Another PIA event may work differently, so read the exact sale page.

The next useful step

Find the right official seller for your event

Already chosen a performance? Follow the sales link on the artist, venue or organiser’s official page. The same ticket company can run different domestic and overseas checkouts.

The organiser names Rakuten Ticket

Check the exact sale’s overseas route, payment method, collection and identity rules. A familiar brand or an English page is not a guarantee for every event.

See the Rakuten Ticket checks below

The organiser names Lawson Ticket

Use the existing overseas-access checks before choosing a general sale. Do not replace the official seller just because another platform has an advertisement.

Read the Lawson overseas-access guidance

Rakuten Ticket: select the sale, not just the brand

Rakuten’s purchase guide separates the performance and seat selection from payment, collection and purchaser details. Its legal notice says delivery varies by event and buyer-requested changes or cancellations are not accepted after a purchase is decided.

Confirm the policy attached to your exact order. Do not apply one overseas page’s venue-collection instructions to an app-ticket or store-collection order. A cancellation of the performance is a different situation: follow the organiser’s refund notice.

Read Rakuten Ticket’s purchase instructions (opens in a new tab)

After an interrupted payment, check whether the first order exists before trying again. If a ticket is missing, use the ticket display and device-change guidance.

AnyPASS is a delivery step, not a reason to buy a different ticket or phone plan. Find the AnyPASS step you still need to resolve.

Sources for this added section

Added-section source check: 9 September 2026. This does not re-date the rest of the guide. Rakuten’s purchase and legal details were checked in official search excerpts; direct page retrieval was unavailable. This section makes no live inventory or successful-checkout claim.

After a payment error, confirm the order before retrying

Do not submit the order again until the seller's official order history or tracking route shows whether the first attempt created an order. An error screen, a missing email or a bank entry does not resolve that state by itself.

  1. Check the first attempt with the seller. eplus International provides Track my order, where the order ID or purchase email address opens the official order list and details.
  2. Read payment and pickup as different fields. A current Ticket PIA inbound page says Payment Method: Credit card only while its Delivery Method: Seven-Eleven. Store collection does not create a cash-payment alternative.
  3. Use only a provider-published recovery step. Lawson tells users to check the reception's My Page after an interrupted application; no history means the application was not completed. Only after its published card-payment-failure email does the FAQ direct the user to enter another card in My Page. It does not establish a switch to store payment after card failure.

eplus also says a failed debit-card payment can still show a bank charge that returns after a few days. A bank charge alone is not proof of an order or a double charge, and the exact timing remains Unknown.

The error's cause, current order state, inventory hold and any alternative route remain Unknown until the relevant provider or issuer confirms them. If the official status or recovery route is unavailable, stop and use official support for the part that seller or issuer controls.

Official checks: eplus payment FAQ, eplus order confirmation, Lawson FAQ, and the event-specific Ticket PIA example.

Keep the order, bank entry and ticket issue separate

  1. Start from the original seller’s record

Use the provider-specific recovery routes above rather than retrying checkout. Keep the event, sale route and attempt time with the original confirmation. If eplus sends a Track my order link, its FAQ says the link expires after one hour and can be used once; an expired link is not evidence that the order disappeared. Request the current tracking route rather than create a second purchase.

Source: eplus International: order tracking and payment FAQ

  2. Give authentication questions to the issuer

The seller’s order and the issuer’s pending or completed transaction answer different questions. Lawson directs cardholder-authentication questions to the card issuer. Follow the method your issuer actually displays; a new Japanese phone number is not automatically the solution. Never send a password, one-time code or full card number in a general support message.

    Source: Lawson Ticket: cardholder authentication

  3. A confirmed payment still needs the ticket handoff

Once the order is confirmed, follow the ticket issuing date, delivery method, registered number and entry conditions. A receipt is not necessarily the admission screen. Use the ticket-display section below instead of deleting the app, changing the number or paying again as an experiment.

  4. Save one precise unresolved question

A useful support message states which order can be found, which payment state is visible and which action needs confirmation before the seller’s deadline. Keep seller confirmation, bank response and eventual ticket issue as separate outcomes. If the permitted recovery step remains unclear, stop that route and use official support; no support request is itself a refund or admission approval.

These integrated steps were checked on ; this is not a full re-review of the article. Earlier source dates and rules remain attached to their original scope.

Sources for these steps

If only domestic sales exist

You may still be able to buy, but the restrictions are real. Read them before entering card details.

Lawson Ticket

Lawson Ticket publishes separate guidance for people using the service from overseas. Its location boundary is about access from overseas, not nationality by itself.

Payment and collection then run on an allow-list. From overseas the guide permits credit card, store payment and store deposit, with collection at a store or as an electronic ticket. Overseas-issued cards may not work. Store payment must be completed at a Lawson inside Japan within a deadline that varies by event but is normally three days.

Electronic tickets are the second stop. The guide says a device usable in Japan is required, but Lawson's own FAQ states it more strictly: a smartphone contracted in Japan. The two official pages do not read the same way, so confirm the requirement on the event's own sale page rather than assuming a travel SIM will satisfy it. The FAQ also says postal delivery is unavailable from overseas.

One more thing worth knowing before you rely on these pages: both the non-Japanese guide and its FAQ are written entirely in Japanese, despite their titles. Their English support is a contact form that accepts English only. Treat these as checks for the specific event, not a promise that every Lawson sale will work the same way.

Lawson: a general sale is not sufficient

The overseas guide limits purchases to general sales and says member registration and existing-member login are unavailable from overseas. The exact sale must still offer a usable nonmember route.

If columns are cut off, scroll sideways. Keyboard: focus the table, then use Left/Right Arrow keys.

Delivery apps are where many purchases fail

Even when payment works, the ticket still has to reach your phone. The sale platform and delivery system may be different companies with different rules.

AnyPASS

AnyPASS says registration with an overseas phone number is possible. Authentication uses the number with its country code. Its terms warn that some overseas-issued numbers may not work and limit service use to Japan. The service requires a currently supported smartphone and OS, its app, a numbered SIM, and an internet connection. The sources do not establish setup outside Japan or exact tablet compatibility.

On the published iPhone setup route, the SMS app opens a prefilled message and the user presses send without changing its text. If the SMS app has not launched after waiting at least 30 seconds, the published troubleshooting route directs the user to start outgoing-call authentication. That is different from a service that sends a code to the phone. The exact Android flow and a particular carrier, SIM or roaming result remain Unknown unless the current official instructions and the completed authentication confirm them.

Unless an AnyPASS linking code is used, a ticket can be received only on the device using the mobile number registered when applying. Registration does not prove receipt or entry. Companion distribution and official resale depend on the ticket or event.

Tixplus

Tixplus requirements are performance-specific. Some published event instructions restrict use to a smartphone with a Japanese 070, 080 or 090 number and Short Message Service (SMS).

A blanket claim that Tixplus always accepts or never accepts overseas numbers would be inaccurate. Check the exact event page.

If the ticket is missing or you change phones

A ticket that is not visible immediately after purchase is not necessarily lost. Some events release the actual ticket later. AnyPASS says a ticket cannot be viewed before ticket issuing begins. eplus International says that, for eligible 7-Eleven collection events, the collection number is sent two days before the show.

Check the event's issue date, the confirmation email, the order page and the registered phone number before assuming there is an error. Use the official support route if the stated issue date has passed.

Do not change the device casually

AnyPASS and Tixplus publish device-change procedures. Tixplus also limits the number of device or registered-number changes and excludes tablets from its supported devices. If a phone change is unavoidable, complete the official transfer procedure early, keep the same number where required, and do not wait until the venue queue.

A data eSIM is not the same as a phone number

A product sold as Data Only cannot stand in for a number the ticket system must call or text. Before buying a SIM solely for a ticket, separate three requirements:

  • Payment: which cards the sale accepts.
  • Verification: whether the delivery app needs a phone number, SMS to be sent or received, an outgoing call, or a Japanese number.
  • Display: which device and connection are needed at the venue.

Buying a Japanese SIM does not automatically solve ticket access. It helps only if it supplies the exact type of number the event's system requires. Use the data, home-number and Japanese-number test before comparing products.

Read the gate rules before the checkout

Name matching, companion tickets and ID checks vary by event and are set by the organiser. Some events check the ticket-holder's identity. Some require companion tickets to be distributed in a specific way.

Borrowed accounts and identities can breach event rules and fail at ticket transfer or the gate. We do not recommend unofficial proxy purchases. Check the ticket-holder name, companion, transfer and ID rules before paying.

Companion rules can change the whole plan

AnyPASS can distribute eligible companion tickets by a supported link or QR method, but the purchaser's own ticket cannot be distributed. On eplus International, the published FAQ says the purchaser and companion must enter together and separate QR codes are not issued for separate entry. Another event may require each attendee to use a separate phone.

If a passport check is mentioned, copy names exactly as the organiser instructs. Do not guess how to shorten a middle name, swap name order or convert characters. Ask official support before purchase if the form cannot represent the name on the required identification.

If the eplus International name is wrong after purchase

The official eplus International FAQ says a buyer who entered wrong personal information or registered a nickname should send the correct details through the official FAQ's inquiry route. It separately says an omitted middle name presents no particular problem on this eplus International route.

That registered-information route does not authorise buyer substitution or ticket transfer. In its transfer and resale answer, the same FAQ says it does not accept a name change in that context. The correction outcome, response time, event-specific identity check and admission remain Unknown until eplus and the event owner confirm the part each controls. Do not place a replacement order merely to repair the name.

This narrow middle-name statement does not establish the rule for domestic eplus, another ticket platform or another event.

Cancellation, transfer and resale are separate rules

A change of travel plans does not normally create a right to cancel. eplus International says confirmed orders cannot be changed or cancelled, and its route prohibits transfer and resale. Lawson's overseas FAQ also says buyer-requested cancellations are not accepted.

Some performances offer organiser-authorised resale, but the service and overseas eligibility vary by event. A Threads discussion we reviewed showed why this matters: an overseas application route can exist while official resale remains unavailable to that buyer. Check both rules before paying.

If an event itself is cancelled, follow the event's refund notice. eplus International says it will notify buyers by email. Lawson says paper and electronic ticket refund routes differ, and its FAQ is specific about the paper route: as a rule the refund is handled at a Lawson store in Japan, through the in-store Loppi terminal and then the counter.

Three details in that FAQ decide whether a departed visitor can be refunded at all. The physical ticket must be brought to the store, and a lost ticket cannot be refunded. If you paid by card and never collected the ticket, you have to collect it at a Lawson first and then start the refund. And refunds are the organiser's decision on cancellation only, not something a change of plans can trigger. If your flight home leaves before the refund window, that route is closed to you.

Convenience-store collection is not one universal system

Check the exact chain, deadline and reference number in the order. A 7-Eleven collection instruction cannot be used at Lawson or FamilyMart, and a Lawson collection instruction does not become a 7-Eleven booking.

For eplus International events that offer 7-Eleven collection, its FAQ says the ticket can be collected at any 7-Eleven in Japan once the collection number has been issued. Lawson payment and collection deadlines are shown in the booking and can be short. Its guide puts the store-payment window at normally three days, varying by event, so do not plan around a store visit after the deadline.

Why we recommend this: decision evidence

What the Japan-side check changes before you pay

The sale page answers whether a route exists. After a payment error, the official order status decides whether another submission stays blocked. If eplus International registered information is wrong after purchase, its FAQ supplies an inquiry route but not a correction or admission guarantee. The delivery-system rules then decide whether the ticket can reach the phone you will carry, including whether authentication is sent, received or initiated by an outgoing call.

If columns are cut off, scroll sideways. Keyboard: focus the table, then use Left/Right Arrow keys.

This ledger records source-backed decisions, not personal experience. Field tests are labelled separately.

Stop before paying if any of these are unclear

  • No official page: you cannot trace the sale back to the event, artist, venue or promoter.
  • Unread delivery method: you do not know whether the ticket arrives by browser, app, paper or venue collection.
  • Number mismatch: the app needs a number, SMS in a direction you cannot use, an outgoing call, or a Japanese format you do not have.
  • Data-only SIM: you are relying on a travel eSIM for a service that needs an actual phone number or an outbound authentication route.
  • Unknown card acceptance: the sale does not clearly address overseas-issued cards.
  • Unresolved payment attempt: you cannot confirm whether the first order exists or whether the seller publishes a recovery route for that sale.
  • Unknown issue date: you do not know when the ticket or collection number should appear.
  • Unconfirmed device: you have not confirmed that the exact device and OS can install and run the required app, or the device lacks the numbered SIM, SMS, or internet capability the service requires.
  • Unclear gate rules: you do not know the ticket-holder name, companion, ID or transfer rules.
  • Unofficial resale: the route uses a borrowed account, unofficial proxy or unauthorised resale site.
  • VPN or false details: the plan depends on disguising your location or entering an address that is not yours.

If a required step is unclear, do not pay until the organiser confirms it.

If every check is reviewed, compare the exact checkout

  1. Confirm the same event, date and seat category.
  2. Compare the total price and fees, not only the ticket face value.
  3. Compare the delivery and issue timing for the exact sale.
  4. Recheck the identity and companion rules.
  5. Read the cancellation and official resale conditions.
  6. Compare the order status and official support routes, then save them before paying.

Completing this self-check does not verify those conditions. The exact sale, inventory, checkout acceptance, payment, receipt and admission remain Unknown until the official provider confirms each relevant step.

Prepare the ticket before you reach the gate

  • Open the official ticket once before leaving your hotel.
  • Charge the correct phone and carry a power bank if the venue permits it.
  • Keep mobile data available when the ticket instructions require an internet connection.
  • Do not rely on a screenshot unless the official instructions explicitly allow one. The PIA inbound MOALA example in this guide does not.
  • Bring the exact identification named by the organiser and arrive with companions when joint entry is required.
  • Keep the confirmation email and official support page available, but never post your QR code or reservation number publicly.

Photography and filming rules are also event-specific. Check the organiser's venue notice rather than assuming that a rule from another Japanese concert applies.

Frequently asked questions

How do I buy concert tickets in Japan as a foreigner?

Start from the event's own official page and look for an official inbound sale such as eplus International or a Ticket PIA inbound page. If only domestic sales exist, first confirm the exact platform publishes an account or nonmember route you can use from overseas. For Lawson Ticket specifically, a general-sale label is not sufficient: the exact sale must expose book without membership. Then confirm card acceptance, phone delivery and gate rules before paying.

Can I enter a Japanese ticket lottery from overseas?

It depends on the platform and event. Lawson Ticket limits overseas users to general sales, so an advance or lottery route is not established. A general-sale label is not sufficient either: some general sales require membership limited to Japan residents. Confirm that the exact sale exposes book without membership before treating it as usable from overseas.

What should I do if an overseas card payment fails?

Do not submit the order again until the provider's official order history or tracking page shows whether the first attempt created an order. eplus International's Track my order route is one example; it also warns that a failed debit-card payment can still show a bank charge that may return after a few days, so a charge alone is not proof of an order. Lawson says to check My Page after an interrupted application and offers another-card entry only after its published card-payment-failure email. Read the exact sale's Payment Method separately from its pickup or Delivery Method: a Ticket PIA inbound page can be credit-card-only while delivery is at Seven-Eleven. If the order state or an official recovery route is not confirmed, keep it Unknown and stop.

What if I entered the wrong name after buying through eplus International?

For wrong personal information or a nickname registration, use the official eplus International inquiry form to send the correct details. Its FAQ separately says an omitted middle name presents no particular problem on that International route. This is not a correction guarantee or permission to substitute the buyer or transfer the ticket, and it is not a rule for domestic eplus or another platform. The correction outcome, response time, event-specific identity check and admission remain Unknown until the responsible provider or organiser confirms them.

Can I register an account before my trip and use it from overseas?

Not on every platform. Lawson Ticket says membership registration is unavailable from overseas and an existing Lawson WEB member cannot log in from overseas either. A general-sale label is not sufficient: confirm that the exact sale exposes book without membership, and stop if it requires registration or member login. Registering early does not preserve overseas access.

Can overseas visitors use AnyPASS with a foreign phone number?

Sometimes. AnyPASS says registration with an overseas mobile number is possible using its country code, but that does not guarantee every overseas number, device, event or sale route will work. On iPhone, its published setup opens a prefilled SMS for the user to send unchanged. If the SMS app has not launched after waiting at least 30 seconds, its troubleshooting route directs the user to start outgoing-call authentication. Confirm the exact number, outbound authentication, supported smartphone and OS, numbered SIM, event rules, ticket issue and entry route before paying.

Will a travel eSIM work for ticket verification?

Only if it provides the exact number and communication path the service needs. A data-only eSIM line does not itself provide carrier SMS or voice; another line helps only if it is the exact registered number and satisfies the service's rules. AnyPASS's published iPhone setup asks the user to send an SMS, while other services may send a code to the phone. Lawson's FAQ goes further, saying its electronic tickets need a smartphone contracted in Japan.

Are ticket proxies or borrowed accounts a safe workaround?

No. Such an arrangement can pass at payment and still fail at ticket transfer or the gate ID check. Use official inbound sales, documented general sales and official resale where the event provides it.

Does paying for a Japanese fan club guarantee ticket access from overseas?

It depends on the fan club and the event. Fan-club ballots are governed by the club's own terms, and overseas members may be treated differently. Confirm the fan club's and the event's rules before joining solely to buy tickets.

Should I use a VPN or a random Japanese address?

No official ticket route in this guide requires you to falsify your location or address. Use the route published for your actual situation and enter accurate details. A workaround suggested on social media can still fail at delivery, support or entry.

Why has my ticket not appeared in the app yet?

The issue date may not have arrived. AnyPASS, for example, says tickets cannot be viewed before ticket issuing begins. Check the event's issue date, your confirmation email, your order page and the phone number used for purchase before contacting official support.

Can I change phones after buying a ticket?

Sometimes, but follow the delivery service's official device-change procedure before the event. AnyPASS and Tixplus both publish device-change guidance. A changed number, repeated reinstall or unsupported device can add restrictions.

Does every companion need a phone?

It depends on the event and delivery method. AnyPASS can distribute eligible companion tickets, but the purchaser's own ticket cannot be distributed. eplus International says the purchaser and companion must enter together on its route. Read the exact companion rules before buying.

Can I cancel, transfer or resell my ticket?

Do not assume so. eplus International says confirmed orders cannot be cancelled and its tickets cannot be transferred or resold. Other events may offer official resale, but availability and overseas eligibility are performance-specific.

Can I collect a ticket at any convenience store?

Only use the chain and method shown in your order. For eligible eplus International events, the FAQ says collection is available at any 7-Eleven in Japan after the collection number is issued. Lawson orders follow the collection method in the booking.

What should I save after booking?

Save the official confirmation email, order or reservation number, the event page, delivery instructions, issue date and official support link. Do not publish a reservation number or QR code on social media.

Public change log

Update history

  1. Added disclosed partner links

Added a labelled Rakuten Ticket catalogue affiliate link, separate from event-specific sales and overseas eligibility. Existing source-check dates and official alternatives remain unchanged.

  2. Integrated the practical next-step workflow

Integrated the order/payment/ticket recovery manuscript into the existing guide, with scoped source checks; earlier full-review dates and specialist conditions are retained.

  3. Added the post-check purchase handoff

Rechecked nine selected official ticket records, corrected the current Tixplus general-device baseline to iOS 15.0 or higher and Android 9 / API 28 or higher, and added a next-action handoff after every self-check state. Reader answers remain unverified; exact sale, inventory, checkout, payment, receipt and admission remain Unknown.

  4. Separated Lawson general sale from nonmember access

Rechecked Lawson Ticket's overseas guide, reservation steps and FAQ; made general sale a necessary but insufficient condition, required the exact sale to expose nonmember booking, and kept individual sale, inventory, account state, applicant-input acceptance, application, payment, receipt, identity, admission and operations Unknown. This entry also corrects the 25 July summary's overbroad all-account wording without deleting that historical record.

  5. Made the Tixplus receiving-number stop addressable

Made the Tixplus application-number and receiving-smartphone match an addressable delivery stop, linked the named-performance and general device boundaries, and kept overseas-number acceptance, support outcome, timing, receipt and admission Unknown.

  6. Added the eplus registered-information inquiry boundary

Added an eplus International registered-information inquiry boundary: wrong details or a nickname go to official inquiry, the middle-name note stays route-specific, and correction and admission remain Unknown without permitting buyer substitution or transfer.

  7. Added the payment-error order-status stop rule

Added a payment-error stop rule that requires official order-status confirmation before retrying, separates payment from pickup and keeps unconfirmed charges, causes and alternatives Unknown.

  8. Clarified the AnyPASS outbound authentication step

Clarified that the checked AnyPASS iPhone setup opens a prefilled SMS for the user to send and uses an outgoing call only on the documented no-launch route; kept individual outcomes Unknown.

  9. Strengthened the overseas AnyPASS answer

Added an early conditional AnyPASS answer for overseas visitors, rechecked the official service conditions, connected the answer to addressable evidence and corrected the generic device warning.

  10. Corrected the Lawson Ticket rules from the source

Read the Lawson guide and FAQ in full. The guide blocks all account use from overseas, not only new registration; store payment normally allows three days; the FAQ requires a smartphone contracted in Japan and handles paper refunds in-store with the physical ticket. Both pages are written in Japanese despite being published for non-Japanese users.

  11. Expanded the booking decision path

Added traveller-specific booking routes, a visual sale-to-gate path, a claim-level evidence ledger and a visible maintenance record.

    eplus International Booking FAQ

Established: The international route accepts Visa and Mastercard issued in Japan or overseas plus Alipay; a settlement error may reflect a card restriction and is directed to the issuer; a failed debit-card payment may still show a bank charge that returns after a few days; and Track my order is the official order-status route. For registered information, the FAQ directs wrong personal information, changed information or a nickname to the official inquiry form with the correct details, and separately says an omitted middle name presents no particular problem on this route. Elsewhere it prohibits ticket transfer and resale and says it does not accept a name change in that context. A charge alone does not establish an order, a double charge or exact release timing; the inquiry route does not establish a correction result, response timing, event-specific identity decision or admission outcome.
