Japan, Booked. may earn a commission when a reader follows a clearly labelled partner link and completes an eligible purchase. Guides that contain affiliate links label them at the point where they appear.
What will be labelled
A compensated link, booking button, comparison card or discount code will be labelled at the point where it appears. A general statement in the footer is not used as a substitute for a disclosure beside the commercial choice.
The verdict comes first
A product is not recommended because it pays more. The guide first states who the option fits, who should skip it, which conditions can block it and what remains unknown. A booking link can appear only after that verdict.
If a phone is locked, an eSIM commission cannot make the eSIM suitable. If a bus fits a fixed Okinawa route better than a rental car, the guide should say so even when the car booking would pay more.
What is checked before a commercial link
- The exact product and destination, not only the brand.
- Current price basis and material exclusions.
- Cancellation, refund and change conditions.
- Collection, delivery, activation or meeting-point steps.
- Language, document and device requirements.
- Safety or insurance limits relevant to the decision.
- The date those conditions were last reviewed.
Catalogue links and product choices
A catalogue link is for discovery, not a confirmed event sale. The Rakuten Ticket link opens its general catalogue; it does not confirm overseas eligibility, available seats or an event's official sales route. Follow the organiser's exact sales link for any performance you have already chosen.
Mobal links identify the named product family, not a completed checkout. Select the right allowance and duration on the provider's site and review the final charges, identity checks and activation route. Buying a plan does not guarantee ticket authentication.
These are separately labelled commercial choices. Non-affiliate official routes and the option not to buy remain available. An approval or a generated link does not prove that a particular purchase will qualify for commission.
