   Nintendo Museum: From Ticket Reservation to Arrival

   Established: Tickets are sold via a randomly selected drawing, with entries accepted beginning three months prior to the visit; a free Nintendo Account is required to enter the drawing and purchase tickets. Drawing results are available on the 1st day of the month following the application (afternoon), while result-email timing may vary and may arrive late. If selected in the normal drawing, payment must be confirmed by 23:59 on the 7th; if selected from the waitlist, payment is due by the 14th, Japan time. Tickets are automatically canceled if payment is not confirmed by the applicable deadline. Being placed on the waitlist does not guarantee admission. After the drawing, if tickets are available due to cancellations or similar causes, first-come, first-served sales may be announced on the ticketing website and slots up to two months in advance may become available. For Museum ticket payment, the page says only credit cards are accepted. Its accepted-card section lists Visa, MasterCard and JCB, plus qualifying prepaid and debit cards issued by those card companies. A security code and a card registered for 3D Secure are required. The page does not establish whether an individual card is eligible or accepted, whether its security code is accepted, whether its 3D Secure registration is recognized or authentication succeeds, whether payment is confirmed, whether an individual QR-code issuance action succeeds, or whether admission succeeds. Starting at 14:00 on the day before the visit, the ticket holder must go to the ticketing website and click Issue QR Code under Review Tickets. Checking the Nintendo Museum Ticketing Page requires login with the Nintendo Account used for the purchase. The page says it sends a message to the registered email address as a notification that QR-code issuance is available; that message is not the issued QR code and does not make issuance automatic. Once issued, the QR code marks the point after which the ticket can no longer be canceled. It instructs the reservation holder to make the reservation in the name of a person visiting. At entry, the visitor must present the QR code and an identity document. A passport is the only accepted form of ID for a non-Japanese national; if the visitor's identity cannot be verified, they may be denied entry. Ticket assignment is optional: a person receiving an assigned ticket needs a Nintendo Account, while if tickets are not assigned the purchaser can present the QR code for all accompanying visitors. Craft & Play Workshop participation is optional and requires a same-day reservation after entering the Museum and a separate participation fee. Reservations are first-come, first-served and each time slot has a participant limit. The page instructs interested visitors to request a reservation as soon as possible after entering the Museum.    Established: The Japanese Terms say purchased Tickets, including the date and time, Ticket type, Guests and their names, cannot be changed unless Nintendo separately notifies otherwise. A Ticket can only be canceled when all four conditions are satisfied: the request is before the scheduled date and time; the QR code has not been issued and has not been viewed; Guest Tickets have not been distributed; and, if a preschooler Ticket or child Ticket remains after partial cancellation, at least one adult Ticket must also remain. A partial cancellation that requires additional payment can only be processed by visiting the Facility; the Terms do not establish an individual processing outcome. Preschooler Tickets cannot be canceled without also canceling the associated adult Ticket. Nintendo's closure discretion is separate from an individual change or cancellation entitlement.

For ordinary online-cancellation exceptions, it directs visitors to the ticketing office when canceling an accessibility-needs ticket while leaving a companion would require additional payment, or when canceling only a preschooler ticket; that direction does not guarantee acceptance or processing and does not establish a successful cancellation outcome.

The child category expressly includes a 12-year-old elementary-school pupil, and the free-admission note expressly includes a 6-year-old preschool pupil. The child ticket uses a same-day counter-only route. A WEB sell-out also means adult counter tickets are sold out, and standard-adult admission cannot be purchased when sold out. The page also warns that, after the specified entry time, a late visitor may be refused admission. This does not establish automatic refusal, a grace period, current inventory or future pricing.

   Established: The checked FAQ says standard admission tickets open at 00:00 Japan time 14 calendar days before the visit and that cancelled WEB tickets may reappear. It says the child ticket is bought at the 14F counter immediately before admission with the child present, and even when admission tickets are sold out only the child ticket remains on same-day counter sale. The FAQ defines the child-ticket scope as age 11 or younger, including a 12-year-old elementary-school pupil, and separately says age 5 or younger, including a 6-year-old preschool pupil, enters free. A child in the stated scope must be accompanied by a guardian who has an admission ticket. School groups use a separate advance WEB inquiry at least four weeks before the visit. The FAQ defines a WEB ticket as one bought through Webket and a counter ticket as one bought at the 14F ticket counter. Date-and-time admission tickets use 20-minute entry slots. For a visitor who is late for the specified entry time, the FAQ says that, depending on congestion, the visitor may be given a time designated by the facility and told to wait until then, or may be refused admission. When the applicable admission time band differs, a price difference may have to be paid. Entry at or after 21:20 is not permitted. The admission date and entry time cannot be changed; for a Webket WEB ticket, the published route is to cancel it and purchase the desired ticket anew. Only tickets within the FAQ's named cancellation-service scope have a free cancellation route through the day before the visit, but the exact prior-day cutoff time and timezone are not published. That scope separately identifies Webket WEB tickets and tickets bought through the official Trip.com, KKday and Klook pages; the FAQ does not relabel the three partner tickets as Webket WEB tickets or establish identical channel-specific deadlines or processing. Before acquisition, the latest version of the official app is required; older versions contain outdated information and do not support Timed Entry eTicket access. The applicable Park admission tickets for family or other party members can be registered together. If a Studio Pass cannot be read correctly at the Park entrance gate, the page says the traveller will not be able to get Timed Entry eTickets. App registration and the entrance-gate read are separate prerequisites; the checked sentence does not expressly establish the same failure rule for an Annual Pass or a recovery route.
