Meat platters and small dishes: photo notes
Colours, cuts, green leaves and the arrangement of small dishes give these food photographs their variety. The plates are the focus of this little notebook.
Scenes recorded in the photographs.
Platters with leaves and lemon
One platter holds red slices and pale pieces beside shiso leaves and lemon. Another places red and darker meat together, photographed close enough to show their different colours and cuts.
Other photographs show square pieces patterned with white fat and thicker slices scored across the surface. Each plate offers a different view of the food.

Greens and the smaller plates
Thin white vegetable slices and celery fill one plate, while cucumber and a light-brown accompaniment share a smaller dish. Peppers and other colourful vegetables appear beside meat in another photograph.
Dark slices scattered with sesame and a small dish of textured pieces topped with chopped scallions add more details to the collection.

Rice and soup in the frame
The final photograph includes rice and a soup with chopped scallions, sesame and dark seaweed visible. Part of a tabletop grill appears at the edge, adding another view of the table.
