Making thick-noodle sara udon, remembering Nagasaki

After searching for thick noodles like the sara udon I had eaten in Nagasaki, I found some and made lunch. It wasn't quite the remembered dish, but I enjoyed the result.

Lunch with the thick noodles I had been looking for

I eventually found the thick noodles on Amazon. I made sara udon with a topping of pork, prawns, kamaboko, carrot, cabbage and bean sprouts.

Different from the example, still enjoyable

I didn't quite recreate the dish I had eaten in Nagasaki, and it looked different from the example. Even so, I felt it made a very tasty lunch.
