A first homemade pancetta for the end of the year
I tried making pancetta for the first time with the end of the year in mind. I was worried at first, so it was lovely to finish it and hear that it tasted good.

A first attempt with some uncertainty
As it was my first attempt, I worried about how it would turn out. I was pleased to reach the finished result.
Hearing that it tasted good
My daughters were happy with it and said it was delicious. That made me feel this first attempt had gone well.
Grateful to the friend who taught me
I probably wouldn't have made it without my friend's help. I hoped to try again when I found good meat, giving me something else to look forward to.
