Two yakiniku stories: a familiar favourite and a first visit

A familiar yakiniku restaurant in Aichi and a new restaurant chosen for a birthday. These are separate entries from Haruru’s diary, brought together through the food photographs and the accounts behind them.

Returning to 白頭山 in Aichi

Haruru says she always visits 白頭山 when she comes to Aichi. On the previous visit, she had wondered whether kalbi might be a little too much for her. This time she enjoyed it again and ate plenty.

The photographs include dishes labelled 白コロホルモン and 白センマイ, meat cooking on the grill and bibimbap. Her note about ordering more and more adds to the picture of a generous lunch.

A birthday first visit to 肉小僧-匠

In a separate entry, Haruru chose 肉小僧-匠 to try somewhere new. Good reviews had raised her expectations for the birthday meal.

She found the food delicious, but did not feel strongly enough about the experience to want to return. That honest impression remains part of her account. The sushi she ate at lunchtime was a separate meal, and cake brought the day’s food memories to a close.

Follow each meal in its own story

One restaurant was a place she returned to; the other was a first attempt. Her own words explain both her changing appetite and her feelings about returning. The linked articles keep the yakiniku meals, dinner at home and lunchtime sushi in their respective contexts.
