Yakiniku in Aichi, dinner at home and a shared lunch the next day

Haruru enjoyed a generous lunch at a yakiniku restaurant she returns to when visiting Aichi. Dinner was a separate meal at home, prepared by her daughters, and the next day brought a shared lunch. Her account remembers both the food and a welcome chance to relax.

From haruru.1002’s past accounts.

A generous lunch at a favourite yakiniku place

She returned to 白頭山, the yakiniku restaurant she says she always visits when she comes to Aichi. Once again, she found herself eating a little too much at lunch.

On the previous visit, she had wondered whether kalbi was becoming a little too much for her. This time, she enjoyed it again and ate plenty. Her account keeps that honest change of feeling alongside the pleasure of returning.

Alongside kalbi, the photos show dishes labelled “白コロホルモン” and “白センマイ”. Over a photo of meat on the grill, she wrote that they kept ordering more and had lost track of how much they had eaten. Bibimbap was part of the meal too.

A separate dinner at home, with time to relax

After the substantial lunch, dinner was at home. Even so, she laughed at finding herself eating just as much again.

Her daughters prepared the meal, giving her time for an evening nap while they cooked. She wondered how long it had been since she had been able to relax so freely. The chance to rest was part of the pleasure of the evening.

Sharing lunch the next day, with an acai bowl to remember

Lunch the next day was a chance to share different dishes. Haruru enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the meal.

The acai bowl stood out as especially delicious, leaving her hoping to have it again when she next returned.
