Food and tableware remembered from Yokohama Kushikobo

At Yokohama Kushikobo, I enjoyed mushroom ajillo and several yakitori dishes. One favourite left me wondering whether I could try making it myself.

From haruru.1002’s past accounts.

Mushroom ajillo and several yakitori dishes

The meal included mushroom ajillo and several yakitori dishes. The photographs show a small pot with bread and skewers of different shapes and colours.

I had eaten so much yakitori that I did not order a final dish.

A favourite fondue and an idea for another day

My particular favourite was the squid-innards cream fondue. I wondered whether I could make it myself and wanted to try another time.

The vessel for cold sake was heavy, but I liked its feel. I wondered what it was made from, and that impression stayed with me too.
