Up the stairs to an unfamiliar kind of seat
She went to a restaurant she had not visited before. Climbing the stairs from the entrance felt like entering a theme park, and she was excited to go inside.
It had been years since she had sat at a high table on a tall round stool. She remembered feeling that her feet could not quite settle.
Unfamiliar dishes and many drinks to choose from
She enjoyed finding many unfamiliar dishes. There were also plenty of alcoholic drinks to choose from, and she wanted to try different ones.
Thinking of the next day and hoping to return
With her first mountain outing of the year planned for the following day, she stopped after two drinks.
She left wanting to return with more time to try other dishes and drinks, and hoping for clear weather for the next day.
