Korean barbecue, dessert and a hotel pool in Shenzhen

On the fifth day of her trip in Shenzhen, Haruru enjoyed Korean barbecue and dessert. Afterwards, her family invited her to spend time in the hotel pool.

From haruru.1002’s past accounts.

Korean barbecue with plenty of small dishes

The small dishes and refills reminded Haruru of a restaurant she had visited in Korea. Cheese corn and an egg dish cooked around the grill were included on this visit too, which she felt offered good value.

The kimchi and bean-sprout namul were too spicy for her, but she enjoyed the other dishes. Staff cooked the meat, and she remembered that the busy restaurant did not feel filled with smoke.

Dessert recommended by her family

After the barbecue, they went for a dessert her family recommended. Haruru recorded mango, tapioca and coconut milk, along with a matcha component she described as rather like tapioca.

She found it difficult to describe, but liked the taste enough to want it again. Even after a large meal, the dessert was another part of the outing she enjoyed.

Time in the pool and a busy park at night

Her family then invited her to the hotel pool. The water felt cold at first, but she enjoyed being in it once she had adjusted.

She was surprised to see so many people in the park at half past eight that evening. With the following day planned as her last in Shenzhen, she looked back on a full fifth day of the trip.
