Back for oysters, with a “chōkichi” fortune at the table

Haruru went out for oysters again and was delighted with the meal. A tabletop fortune dispenser added another happy memory when she drew “chōkichi,” an unexpectedly lucky result.

Oysters worth returning for

Haruru went out for oysters again. She found them fresh and delicious, and felt the meal offered more than she expected for the price.

The close photographs keep the oysters in view, with pale flesh inside large shells and yellow wedges on the plate.

More plates in the meal photographs

She also photographed several other dishes, including plates of slices and skewers.

Haruru remembered the individual dishes as inexpensive and delicious. The pleasure of the meal extended beyond the oysters.

An unexpected fortune from a nostalgic tabletop dispenser

Finding a fortune dispenser on the table felt nostalgic to Haruru. In her account, she put in 100 yen to try it.

The result was “chōkichi.” Surprised to discover that result, she felt delighted and tucked the paper into her wallet. The image of the round dispenser and fortune slip also carries the words “懐かしい” and “超吉.”
