A fourth camping trip at Mahora Inahoyama, hoping for a sea of clouds
Haruru arrived at Mahora Inahoyama near dusk for her fourth camping trip. The hoped-for sea of clouds did not appear, but she enjoyed the autumn colours, a morning walk and meals served in their pots.

Catching the view before sunset
For her fourth camping trip, she went to Mahora Inahoyama. It was almost 4 p.m. when she arrived, with sunset approaching.
Before putting up the tent, she took photographs while there was still light.
Autumn colours on a morning without a sea of clouds
She had especially looked forward to seeing a sea of clouds, but it did not appear that morning.
They talked about trying again the following year and walked down slowly, enjoying the scenery. The autumn colours were beautiful, and the walk to the lookout had given her a refreshing start to the day.
Meals in their pots, with suiton this time
Most of the food was served straight from its pots. She felt this kept it warm, even if the presentation was not especially photogenic.
On an earlier occasion she had added udon to a creamy clam soup; this time she chose suiton dough dumplings. She liked the combination enough to want to use suiton again. She also enjoyed a generous breakfast.
Blue skies after rain, with detours left for another time
A little rain fell before they packed up, then the sun came out and the sky turned blue. She wondered whether the photographs taken on the way home had been the prettiest of the trip.
She wanted to stop at Michi-no-Eki Hanazono and a hot spring, but evening plans meant heading home instead. She hoped to take her time with those stops on a future attempt to see the sea of clouds.
