An evening at Kabira Bay, and a last island dinner
Haruru.1002 arrived at Kabira Bay in the evening, too late for the glass-bottom boat. She still had time to sit on the sand and look at the bay.

A quiet pause by the bay
The boat trip did not fit into that evening, but she was pleased she had arrived in time to see the scenery. She sat on the sand for a while and described the simple act of looking out as soothing.
That is the part of the visit her short account dwells on: a view she enjoyed even when the planned activity was no longer possible.
The last night brought a table of island dishes
Back on Ishigaki for the last night of this island part of the trip, she enjoyed a meal that included somen champuru, Ishigaki beef sushi, mozuku tempura and island-shallot tempura. She also listed an island-style pancake and beef-steak fried rice among the dishes.
She went to bed early afterwards. Her account looked ahead to flying back to Okinawa’s main island, bringing this short bay-and-dinner chapter to a close.
