Shops, flowers and a café lunch in Hoi An

Haruru found more shops in Hoi An than she could explore in a day. She browsed clothing, small goods and basket bags, stopped for a café lunch, and remembered the bougainvillea brightening the streets.

From haruru.1002’s past accounts.

Browsing the shops and noticing the flowers

Shops selling clothing, bags and small goods appeared alongside cafés. Haruru wrote that there were too many to cover in a single day, and enjoyed the time spent browsing.

She also remembered the beautiful bougainvillea. The photographic record includes a clothing shop framed by pink flowers and a street with yellow walls and lanterns.

Enjoying the shopping

Oil paintings were being sold along the streets, and Haruru bought one. Her friend’s enjoyment of bargaining also became part of the shopping memory.

Small goods, clothing and basket bags caught her attention too, giving her plenty to browse as she explored the shops.

A café lunch between the shops

She stopped for lunch at a café she found stylish and remembered enjoying an affordable meal there.

The meal photographs include a round bread sandwich with small side bowls, and several small portions arranged on a blue-patterned plate. They record a food break during the walk.

Looking forward to the evening

Her daytime account closes with a plan to enjoy the night scenery next. After the shops, flowers and café lunch, she was still looking forward to more of Hoi An.
