A friend's pancetta inspired my first attempt

The pancetta a friend gave me was so delicious that I asked how it was made. It inspired me to begin my first attempt at home.

It tasted so good that I wanted to try

I liked the gift so much that I learned about the preparation from my friend. I began this first attempt with a year-end gathering in mind.

I started preparing the meat using the method my friend had described. I was working through this first attempt and looking forward to the result.

At this stage, I hoped it would turn out well and be ready by the end of the year. I intended to share another update on the result.
