Choosing seafood before reaching the campsite
For the bungalow stay with her usual companions, she stopped at a seafood shop before going to the campsite.
Everything looked delicious, and she bought more than intended. There was plenty of food she was looking forward to enjoying.
Cooking and eating, one after another
She had hoped to arrange the food attractively, but was too busy enjoying it: cooking and eating became the rhythm of the evening. Along with the seafood, she wrote that they cooked three kinds of meat and several vegetables.
By the end, she was full and went straight to sleep. It had been an evening focused on enjoying the food.
The rock oyster that stood out
Although she enjoyed all the food, she singled out the rock oyster as especially delicious. It was the clearest highlight in her meal note.
A morning bath, followed by lunch
