A first try at shish kebab and a seafood-filled camp meal at Aone
On another visit to Aone Campground, Haruru tried making shish kebab for the first time. She added her own touches to a spice mix she had been taught and enjoyed a camp meal with seafood, rice and salads.

A taught spice mix, with her own additions
For her first shish kebab, Haruru used a spice combination she had been taught, then mixed in some other additions. She found that they worked well together and was pleased with the result.
The others enjoying the meal liked it too, making her first attempt a satisfying one.
Seafood and grilled food made a full meal
They had stopped at Kakujoe Gyorui again to get a variety of seafood. Haruru’s account lists rock oysters, turban shells, surf clams, scallops, ayu, prawns and whelks among the food they enjoyed.
She had intended to make several more dishes, but the grilled food already left her very full.
Rice, salads and ingredients left for the next morning
There was rice with corn and edamame, a crab-miso salad made by her daughter, and an avocado salad as well. With such a full meal, Haruru made fewer dishes than she had planned.
Ingredients remained, and she ended by joking that she would have to start cooking in the morning to use them up.
