A generous breakfast and lunch left for another visit

For breakfast at the villa, Haruru made gnocchi in Gorgonzola soup for the first time, along with whitebait, spring onion and garlic toast. She recalled that the whitebait that fell off became crisp and tasted good that way too.

Breakfast was so generous that the group left their planned lunch out for a future visit. The photographs show white bowls, bread on a black plate, and a table filled with dishes and drinks.
