Cooking and an evening fire at Yamabuki Campground
My first camping trip of that year was to Yamabuki Campground. I enjoyed cooking with companions and an evening fire, and stopped at Doshi no Yu on the way back.

Leaving the setup to my companions
I went with familiar friends and ended up leaving the setup to my companions. Once again, cooking became a big part of the camping trip.
More cooking plans than we could eat
I had several dishes in mind and bought too much food. We didn't manage to make everything I had planned, and plenty was left when we packed up. It reminded me to think more carefully about quantities next time.
An evening fire and a hot spring on the way back
There was some rain, but we were able to enjoy a fire that evening. At the time, I also appreciated the bath, pizza oven and clean cooking area. After stopping at Doshi no Yu, I was heading home feeling refreshed.
