Eel she still enjoyed on her return
She returned to Takase after some time away and found the eel as soft and delicious as she remembered.
She noted that the price had risen a little since her earlier visit, but still enjoyed it as an occasional treat.
The recommended tofu and her usual salad
She also tried Takase tofu, which she described as the restaurant's top recommendation. She found it delicious and somewhat dessert-like, though she struggled to put the experience into words.

Milk and blueberry to finish
She finished with gelato at Michi-no-Eki Takiyama. After a lot of deliberation over the two flavours, she chose milk and blueberry.
