A sushi evening with new company

The second day of the holiday brought a gathering with a new combination of friends. At a recommended sushi restaurant, Haruru let two regular visitors choose the dishes and enjoyed the food and conversation.

The dish names kept with the photographs

The dish photographs retain wording for chūtoro, squid tentacles with anago sauce, and torotaku. Each keeps a close view of a dish from the table.

Other photographs are labelled 真鯛のかぶと煮, 茶碗蒸し and 帆立の貝柱 ウニソース: red sea bream head simmer, chawanmushi and scallop with sea urchin sauce.

Cold sake and conversation until closing

They enjoyed cold sake with the food. Haruru remembered it as fruity and easy to drink.

Conversation made the time pass quickly, and soon it was closing time. Her account ends with thanks for being treated and the hope of another meal together.
