Summer in a bungalow, with plenty to eat and stops the next day

After a pickup in Aichi, Haruru spent the weekend in a bungalow. She had planned to cook plenty of camping food, but everyone filled up on the generous amount she had bought for the grill. Fried bread and a farm visit added to the next day of this summer outing.

From haruru.1002’s past accounts.

Filling up on food from the grill

Haruru had been looking forward to making camping meals. But she bought so much food for the grill that everyone said they were already full. She made yakisoba and sweet-potato rice, then reflected that she had once again bought more than she needed.

A soy sauce she liked, and her usual salt

Her account also recalls trying a yakisoba soy sauce from a friend in Saitama for dinner. She found it delicious, and the others liked it too. It was something she wanted to buy again.

For sweet-potato rice, she mentioned the Rokusuke salt she usually mixed in. She also liked it in simple salted rice balls, another small note about her own favourites.

Fireworks, cards and a watermelon photograph

The evening brought fireworks, cards and shaved ice. The watermelon-splitting game did not happen, so the watermelon was simply photographed. Even with that one plan left undone, the account recalls several ways they spent the evening.

Fried bread and a farm visit the next day

The next day, Haruru stopped at Ogino Pan for fried bread before visiting Hattori Farm. She walked with a little goat called Melon, fed sheep and goats, and ate a hot dog before returning home.

She wondered whether everyone had enjoyed the two-day outing. At the end of her account, taking them back to Aichi the following morning was still a plan.
