She thought the owl-shaped baked sweet was particularly cute. Its shape was part of what she enjoyed about the souvenir.
A familiar snack and a cookie she hesitated to eat
She felt nostalgic about Carl, which she had not seen much of around that time. She also noted hearing that it was commonly sold in Osaka supermarkets then.
