A one-night Shirakawago and Hida Takayama bus trip with my sister
I joined a one-night, two-day bus tour to Shirakawago and Hida Takayama. This was my third time on the tour, and this time I went with my sister.

Travelling with my sister and making new friends
The tour had always left me satisfied, and my sister liked it too. We made friends with another pair of sisters and enjoyed talking about travelling together again sometime.
Lake Suwa, with a little ice
The first scene in my notes was Lake Suwa, which was a little frozen. It was another view to remember alongside the Shirakawago and Hida Takayama trip.
Remembering a stay with the heating on
I used the heating during this stay. It reminded me how different places within Japan can feel, and I enjoyed what each trip had to offer.
Food photographs from the trip
The travel photographs also include a meal in a ceramic bowl and a sauce-glazed skewer. A shopfront and snow appear behind the skewer, offering another small view of the trip.
