Five wines and a meal in Shinjuku

After finishing my plans, I went to Shinjuku for wine and food. I tried five wines, remembering both the difficulty of telling their differences and the sweetness of the last one.

From haruru.1002’s past accounts.

Beginning with a rosé toast

I began with a toast of Roger Goulart Cava Rosé. I found it easy to drink and thought afterwards that I might have taken more time to savour it.

The differences were difficult, but the sweetness stood out

I tried five wines in all. I didn't find it easy to distinguish their flavours, but I remembered that the last wine, with honey, was sweet.

Food alongside the wine

The food notes included cheese, skirt steak, pickles, tomato-and-anchovy pizza and fritters. I enjoyed the evening and felt it was nice to spend time like this now and then.
