One night in Korea, with porridge, grilled beef and shopping

Haruru took a late-night flight to Korea for a short trip centred on good food. Porridge, grilled beef and ganjang gejang, along with plenty of shopping, filled her one-night stay.

From haruru.1002’s past accounts.

A two-in-the-morning departure, then on to Seoul

On this trip, her flight left Haneda at two in the morning and arrived in Korea at half past four. She then took a limousine bus towards Seoul.

Porridge and beef cooked on a drum grill

Porridge was the first meal. Later she had beef cooked on top of a drum grill, enjoying the tender meat and the sauce.

Ganjang gejang in the evening

In the evening she had ganjang gejang. It was her first time eating raw swimming crab, and she wrote that she enjoyed it.

Lunch, dumplings, cold noodles and shopping the next day

A restaurant she happened to walk into for lunch the following day turned out to be a happy choice: inexpensive, delicious and with plenty of extras. Dumplings and cold noodles came at the end.

She also enjoyed plenty of shopping before returning on a flight that departed at half past eight in the evening. The trip had fulfilled its purpose, leaving her very satisfied and wanting to go again.
