A quieter lunch at Saint Marc, with chicken and bread

Haruru.1002 chose Saint Marc for lunch. She remembered busier visits and lunchtime queues, but on this occasion the restaurant was quiet. Her meal was chicken poêlé with dried-shrimp croquant, accompanied by bread.

From haruru.1002’s past personal account posted on 4 September 2017, edited with permission.

A different lunchtime from the one she remembered

The contrast with previous queues was something she noticed that day. The quiet restaurant belonged to that particular visit, alongside the dish she chose for lunch.

Chicken on the plate, bread in the meal photograph

Her collage brings the chicken dish and the bread together. She also remembered preferring the bread at VOLKS, a personal comparison that became part of her lunch note.
