Recent lunches and my first DelRey chocolates

Looking back at what I had eaten recently, lunch might have been my biggest indulgence. Photographs of several meals sit alongside my first DelRey chocolates in this food diary.

From haruru.1002’s past accounts.

Several lunches kept in photographs

Looking over what I had eaten recently, I thought lunch might be my biggest indulgence. One photograph shows rice, a plate of meat, small side dishes and soup, with たん之助 printed on the packaging.

Other photographs show a bowl topped with thin slices of meat and half an egg, and a tray with rolls, leaves, soup and small dishes. Each is a memory of a recent meal.

A sushi plate and a bowl of sliced seafood

The sushi photographs include a round plate of nigiri and gunkan in different colours. Another shows a small bowl topped with sliced seafood, a prawn and green leaves.

The chopstick sleeves in both photographs read 寿し常. These are two more pictures in the collection of recent meals.

Taking my time with the first chocolates

Finally came my first DelRey chocolates. They felt like an indulgence I would be unlikely to buy for myself, and I was reluctant to swallow them too quickly.

The photographs show a black box tied with a gold-coloured ribbon and sweets in a three-part tray. A pink heart sits in the middle, with gold-lined jewel designs on either side.
