Blossom viewing postponed, with drinks and ramen instead
Rain and cold postponed Haruru’s blossom-viewing plans, so she went out for a few drinks instead. Large fried oysters and a return to Kagetsu for ramen featured in her account.

Leaving the blossoms for another day
The planned blossom outing was postponed because of rain and cold. She hoped there might still be time to see the flowers before they fell.
Going out for a few drinks
She ordered whale sashimi, horse mackerel and ark-shell mantle, finding the presentation rather like a salad. The fried oysters were large and delicious, in her recollection.
Finishing with a return to Kagetsu
She finished with ramen at Kagetsu, somewhere she had not visited for a while. The blossoms had to wait, but the outing still brought food to enjoy.
