A sushi meal at Toppi in Otaru

Haruru was delighted by the conveyor-belt sushi she ate in Otaru. The chopstick sleeve in her photographs reads とっぴ〜, TOPPI, linking the dishes to the shop’s name.

The generous serving of ikura

The salmon roe was piled high, spilling over the rice and onto the plate. Haruru singled out both the generous serving and its flavour, which tasted different to her.

It was one of the dishes she remembered most enthusiastically from this meal in Otaru.

Shellfish, uni and more dishes she enjoyed

She also enjoyed the whelk and surf-clam sushi, then added uni to the list of favourites in her account.

In the end, her impression was simple: everything she tried was delicious. The photographs preserve the variety of plates she had chosen.
