A first meeting, from lunch and shopping to sushi
An afternoon with a friend she was meeting for the first time took Haruru from lunch to several shopping stops. A change of plan brought them to sushi at the end.

Lunch at Chez Inaba after some time away
Her new friend was cheerful and easy to talk to, and conversation soon felt familiar. For lunch, Haruru chose Chez Inaba, remembering how much she had enjoyed it before.
On this occasion, she found the presentation striking but the flavour less satisfying than she had hoped. Disappointed after looking forward to the meal, she finished lunch and moved on.
Shopping stops, then sushi instead of a cafe
They stopped at a tofu shop, then Kakujo Gyorui and a bakery. The plan to finish at a cafe changed into a shared decision to have sushi instead.
They went to Choshimaru on the way back. Haruru enjoyed the meal and felt it made up for the disappointing lunch. The five hours passed quickly, leaving her with a happy memory of the afternoon.
