Liking the atmosphere and welcome
An attractive new place had opened next to Horumon Dojo, with beer and chicken at its centre. Haruru remembered liking both the atmosphere and the service.
From the first foamy beer to a green-mikan sour
Her first drink was a beer described as one for drinking the foam. On that visit, she was told to drink it within a minute before the foam disappeared. To Haruru, that felt too quick to savour it.
For her second drink, she changed from beer to a strongly carbonated fresh green-mikan sour.
Trying something new and recognising familiar preferences
The food felt centred on junk food to Haruru, and she found she could not eat very much of it.
Although she liked the setting and service, her note returned to her preference for Horumon Dojo. Trying the new place helped her recognise what she personally enjoyed.
