Packing a bento before setting off for Nagaoka’s fireworks

Before setting off for Nagaoka’s fireworks, Haruru heard from her sister, who had gone the previous day, that there had been little time for lunch and that bringing a bento would be a good idea. Haruru quickly made one from what was in the refrigerator.
The weather was fine, and she felt relaxed about any traffic because she would not be doing the driving herself. Her account captures the anticipation as she set off for the fireworks.
