Nigiri at Midori Sushi in Kichijoji, with a memorable shrimp head

Haruru returned to Midori Sushi after a while. Unable to book her preferred branches on that occasion, she went to Kichijoji. She enjoyed seasonal nigiri and a seafood salad, with the shrimp head served in a dish becoming a particular favourite.

From haruru.1002’s past accounts.

Choosing Kichijoji on this occasion

Haruru wrote that she could not get a booking at the main branch or Ginza even ten days ahead of this visit. She chose Kichijoji instead.

Seasonal omakase nigiri and seafood salad

She ordered the seasonal chef's omakase nigiri and an avocado seafood salad. Although it had been a while since her last visit, she remembered enjoying everything she ate.

The shrimp head she remembered most

The shrimp head served in a dish particularly stayed in her memory. Haruru wrote that sucking out its rich contents might have been the most delicious part of the meal.

Drinks and something she hoped to try next time

She had draft beer, a honey-lemon sour and umeshu on the rocks. With it still being Tuesday, she had intended to keep things modest.

She wanted Seki saba too, but felt so full that even dessert was a struggle and decided against it. Trying it first next time became something to look forward to.
