Marunouchi lunch, followed by matcha shiratama anmitsu
A course lunch at the Maru Building and matcha shiratama anmitsu afterwards made this a meal to remember. Haruru’s Marunouchi account is short, but her photographs show the dishes and the café stop that followed.

The photographs include Tokyo Station’s red-brick station building, framing this account of a meal in Marunouchi. Haruru named the Maru Building as the place where she had lunch.
A course she wanted to come back for
The lunch was a course featuring a whole shark fin braised in sauce. Haruru found it very delicious and wrote that the restaurant had become somewhere she wanted to visit again.
Her photographs show the shark-fin dish alongside a prawn dish, a bamboo steamer and a soup. The centre of her account is the enjoyment of that course and the wish to return.
Matcha shiratama anmitsu after lunch
After the meal came matcha shiratama anmitsu. A café photograph shows the sign 丸の内 CAFE会, Marunouchi CAFE会, with TULLY’S COFFEE + ITOEN beneath it.
The dessert photograph shows a dark bowl topped with green matcha soft serve and white shiratama dumplings. It is the sweet ending she chose to include in the same account as the lunch.
