Food and scenery notes from a Kyushu trip
On the Kyushu trip, I enjoyed Shirokuma, seafood dishes and horse-meat sashimi. Alongside the food notes were references to Sakurajima and waterfront scenery.
From haruru.1002’s past accounts.
Shirokuma during the trip
My food notes began with Shirokuma. It was one of the things I picked out from the many meals I enjoyed.
Enjoying seafood and horse-meat sashimi
I also had live-prepared seafood, squid, hana-aji, abalone, horse-meat sashimi and goma-saba. I found the dishes fresh-tasting and delicious, and kept eating until I was full.
A landscape with an Arimura Lava Observatory sign
Sakurajima also appeared in the trip notes. One landscape photograph shows an Arimura Lava Observatory sign, dark rocks, low greenery and a mountain beyond.
Waterfront scenes in the record
Other photographs show light from a low sun on the water and a wooden deck beside the sea. Waterfront views sit alongside the meal notes.
