A return meal on Kokusai Street, with island plans ahead

Haruru returned to a restaurant on Kokusai Street that she had visited the previous year. She enjoyed island shallots, champuru and soki soba, while looking forward to Ishigaki and hoping the boat to Hateruma would sail.

From haruru.1002’s past accounts.

Returning to a restaurant from the previous year

The restaurant on Kokusai Street was one she had visited the previous year. This was a return visit during her travels.

She wrote that everything she ate was delicious. The meal left her feeling satisfied.

Several dishes, with soki soba to finish

Her meal note lists salted island shallots, a spicy minced-pork champuru, cream-cheese iso-ae, white liver stir-fry, mixed poultry aburi with yuzu kosho, and aburi edamame.

She toasted with Orion beer and also had three shikuwasa sours. Soki soba finished the meal, after a range of dishes she had enjoyed.

Ishigaki ahead, and Hateruma if the boat could sail

At the time of the note, she was about to head to Ishigaki. She planned to go on to Hateruma if the boat could sail, and hoped it would not be cancelled.

She was watching the forecast and hoping to avoid a downpour. She was looking forward to the islands still ahead.
