Two days in Kiyosato: Saint Paulia, Moegi no Mura and a hot spring

A return to Kiyosato after many years gave haruru.1002 two enjoyable days: a stay at Saint Paulia, browsing at Moegi no Mura, ice cream and a hot spring visit.

From haruru.1002’s traveller accounts posted in October 2019, edited with permission.

A welcoming pension and something new to try

She travelled in a group of three and liked the welcoming atmosphere at Saint Paulia. After dinner, she tried glass etching and said she wanted to try more. Her first account looked ahead to the next day’s event, ice cream and hot spring visit.

A bakery stop, autumn skies and more to browse

The next day, she stopped at a bakery near the pension before visiting the 「わたしのカントリー」 event at Moegi no Mura. Halloween decorations were dotted around the venue. Under blue skies, with autumn colour just beginning, she found more goods to browse than she had time for.

Ice cream, a hot spring and the journey home

After ice cream at Seisenryo, she visited Panorama no Yu and took time to relax before leaving. An accident-related traffic jam on the Chuo Expressway affected the return journey, but she described the two days as enjoyable and over all too quickly.

Use the idea to shape your own visit

A stay followed by browsing, a food stop and a bath can be a starting idea for a Kiyosato trip. Choose the event or activity that matters to you first, then fit the other stops around its opening information and your arrival and return transport.

Moegi no Mura publishes its shop and event information. Seisenryo has a dedicated soft-serve page, and Panorama no Yu publishes its visitor guide. Use those pages for current arrangements rather than the times or conditions of this past trip.
