Enjoying something a little special
The meal felt a little extravagant, but she welcomed the occasional treat. Wine lifted her spirits, and she described it as the first really fun dinner she had had in a while.
Meat dishes, starters and penne
She named chargrilled lamb and beef skirt steak, starters including cured ham and marinated cutlassfish, and Gorgonzola penne. Fried pizza dough mixed with aonori seaweed also appears in her dinner account.
