A big batch of ohagi on the first day of a holiday

On the first day of a holiday, I made ohagi as a gift for an acquaintance's shop. Before I knew it, I had a batch big enough to remind me of a sweet shop.

An unexpectedly large batch

I wasn't sure how much to make, so I judged the quantity as I went. The finished batch turned out much larger than I had expected.

Choosing the sweetness myself

One pleasure of making them myself was being able to adjust the sweetness of the bean paste. I prepared the gift hoping it would be enjoyed.
