A walk through Laojie, with stalls to browse and a simple sweet

Haruru’s walk through Laojie took in an eye-catching building, a clothing market and food stalls. She was too full to try one tempting dessert, but a simple sweet that reminded her of mochi stayed in her memory.

From haruru.1002’s past accounts.

A castle-like building and a clothing market

The McDonald’s building looked almost like a castle to Haruru. She also found the interior stylish, although she did not photograph it.

People had gathered at a market where clothes were laid out. Browsing the goods became another part of her account of Laojie.

Plenty to look at without trying everything

There were many food stalls, including food in which the shape of a head was still visible. A dessert that looked like a crepe wrapped in a waffle was tempting, but Haruru was too full to try it then.

She browsed the sweets without buying any. She also saw a building with nail and haircut services close together, but did not try them.

The simple sweetness of a mochi-like treat

One treat she ate reminded Haruru of mochi with kinako. She found it simple, sweet and quietly enjoyable, a food memory from a walk spent looking around many different shops.
