A grilled-fish meal on arrival and a late evening out in Hokkaido

Haruru travelled to Hokkaido with food very much on her mind. This account remembers the grilled-fish meal she chose on arrival and an evening meal after a late departure from her hotel.

From haruru.1002’s past accounts.

Choosing a grilled-fish meal

Soon after arriving, she spent some time deciding what to eat before choosing a grilled-fish set meal.

The rice was cooked with conger eel and burdock, and she finished it with broth poured over it. She really enjoyed that part of the meal.

A late evening meal

It was almost ten at night when she left the hotel. With less of an appetite, she chose zangi, fried corn, a five-item sashimi platter and ramen salad.

The pink almond-flavoured sour reminded her of the scent of almond tofu dessert. A single lemon sour felt like enough for her.

More food to look forward to

She ended the account looking forward to another day of eating her way around. There were still more meals to anticipate.

A three-night trip with food in mind

This was a three-night, four-day visit to Hokkaido, mainly for the food. From the first meal after arrival to the late evening dishes, eating was at the heart of her account.
