After Hamasta, Haruru went to an izakaya recommended by a friend. Her note remembers raising a toast and enjoying the meal there.

An impressive sashimi platter arranged in advance

Her friend had ordered the sashimi platter in advance. Haruru listed chutoro, kanpachi, seared hiramasa, madai, raw saba and scallops.

To her, it looked fresh and generously sliced, and she remembered enjoying all of it.

Salad and meat dishes made it a generous meal

The crab salad was generous too. Haruru also listed an ageyaki dish of jidori chicken, beef cutlet and fresh zha cai.

Enjoying the different dishes left her very satisfied. That pleasure fills her short account of the meal.

A grilled rice ball to finish, and a wish to return
