A satisfying first lunch of sashimi and fried horse mackerel

On her first visit to a recommended restaurant, Haruru enjoyed a lunch of sashimi and fried horse mackerel with five small side dishes, dessert and iced coffee. She wanted to return as soon as she had eaten.

From haruru.1002’s past accounts.

Sashimi and crisp fried horse mackerel

She described sashimi that included lightly blanched and seared preparations, and enjoyed its firm, springy texture. She also liked the crisp fried horse mackerel.

Five small side dishes

The five small side dishes were hijiki, nikujaga, pickles, simmered fish roe and komatsuna greens in broth. They brought a variety of flavours to the set meal.

Citrus jelly, coffee and a wish to return

Dessert was a homemade jelly with citrus, accompanied by iced coffee.

She was especially satisfied with the lunch and wanted to visit again almost immediately after finishing it.
