After dinner, Haruru tried the cheese-flavoured round waffle she had missed eating the previous day.
A melon-bread-like crust and a stew-like filling
The next recommendation had dough that reminded Haruru of Japanese melon bread, with a filling she likened to beef stew. Familiar foods were her way of describing something new.
A seasonal version led to a dumpling delivery too
She then learned of a seasonal crab version of the pan-fried dumplings and ordered a delivery too. More things she wanted to try kept being added to that evening of the trip.
