A green terrace breakfast and a day out with a friend
Haruru enjoyed a day out with a friend. She kept the destination as a surprise, beginning the day with breakfast on a terrace among fresh green leaves. Hot dogs, pizza, gelato, vegetable shopping and lunch filled the outing, with time to relax later.

An early start and breakfast among the leaves
She picked up her friend at half past six and began the day with breakfast. The restaurant was a surprise: this was Haruru’s own mystery outing.
The fresh green leaves were beautiful, and the restaurant was just as she had hoped. She chose a terrace seat and could not decide between hot dogs and pizza, so she ordered both.
Although she was already full, she had heard that the gelato was recommended and decided to try it. She wrote that the limited-time strawberry millefeuille was especially delicious.
Vegetable shopping, then another meal
Afterwards, she drove for about an hour and a half to a roadside station. Seeing so many vegetables tempted her into buying some.
Despite the generous breakfast, lunch did not turn out to be a light meal. She had intended to eat a little, but wrote with amusement that she ended up eating plenty.
Time for a bath and a quiet rest
By the time she wrote the account, Haruru was spending time at a hot spring and a heated-stone bathing area. She was taking a break with sparkling water to drink.
She could read manga at leisure and found the lounge chair comfortable. It was a welcome chance to unwind. Her closing thought was still a question: what should she have for dinner?
