The purpose of this outing was hamburg steak at Sawayaka. After learning about the wait at the outlet branch, Haruru did little shopping and went to the Gotemba Interchange branch. She was glad to enjoy a meal she had wanted to return for.

Changing branches for the meal
The Gotemba outlet branch had a two-and-a-half-hour wait. Haruru had come mainly for hamburg steak, so she did very little shopping before heading to the Gotemba Interchange branch.
She recorded a 40-minute wait there on that occasion. After spending time nearby, she was able to have the meal she had come for.
Returning after several years for a meaty texture
Seeing Sawayaka on television had made Haruru want to return after several years. A day off gave her the chance to make the meal the purpose of the outing.
She liked the meaty flavour and springy texture, and felt that the onion sauce suited the hamburg steak.
Motorway and fuel costs made the outing a little expensive, but she felt it was something worth enjoying occasionally.
