A first visit to Fukuya for miso ramen and negi fried rice

At last visiting Fukuya, Haruru chose the recommended miso ramen. She enjoyed its rich miso flavour and the thin noodles she likes, while the negi fried rice made an especially strong impression.

From haruru.1002’s past accounts.

Choosing the recommended miso ramen

Haruru was pleased finally to make her first visit to Fukuya. Having heard that miso ramen was the dish to try, she ordered it without hesitation.

She mentioned a previous regret in Hokkaido and wanted to avoid feeling that way again.

Thin noodles she liked, and soup enjoyed to the end

She liked the rich miso flavour, and the noodles were the thin kind she prefers.

She wrote that she added rice to the remaining soup and finished the soup too. It was a bowl she enjoyed to the end.

The negi fried rice stood out even more

Haruru liked the ramen, but said the negi fried rice was even more delicious. It gave her another dish to remember from this first visit.

In her personal order of favourites at the time, Satsumakko came first, Fukuya’s miso ramen second and black ramen third. This meal found a place among the bowls she liked best.
