Lunch on Enoshima and sweets in Kamakura with friends

Haruru took a drive to Enoshima and Kamakura with her usual group of three. They ate at Enoshima-tei before heading to Kamakura for sweets and a stroll along Komachi Street.

From haruru.1002’s past accounts.

A whitebait meal at Enoshima-tei

She wrote that raw whitebait was scarce at the time, so the meal used boiled whitebait in the Shirasu Zanmai Gozen. The large turban-shell sashimi included the liver and felt ample for three people; she enjoyed the liver too.

On to Kamakura for sweets

After lunch they headed to Kamakura for sweets, with shiratama anmitsu among the foods mentioned. Places were busy that day, but she enjoyed wandering along Komachi Street again.

Laughing together

The weather was not ideal, yet it felt pleasantly warm and still. The familiar group laughed until they cried, and she hoped they would plan something fun together again.
